Bob Miller Park and Zadow Park, Melissa's Community Parks, offer fun for the whole family with volleyball & basketball courts, athletic fields, nature areas, picnic tables and playgrounds.  In addition Collin County Adventure Camp is located just to the North.

Melissa is also located a short distance from two of North Texas's most popular lakes, Lake Lavon and Lake Texoma.  Each offers a wide range of developed parks, camping, hiking, picnic spots and water activities.
